Sale Mustard With Roasted Spices, 100g Ingredients Brands|French Ingredients

Terre Exotique’s mustard with roasted spices makes a tangy condiment for sourdough sandwiches and smoky sausages. Made following a traditional Réunion recipe, this mustard is created in a three-stage process. First, the black mustard seeds are ground. Next, the seeds are mixed with verjuice – this is what gives mustard its acidic tang. Finally, the mix is ground and sieved to produce the final condiment.

This mustard is mixed with a blend of garlic, coriander, sesame, cumin and fenugreek to give a gentle spice. We love serving a spoonful on the side of sausages and mash, roast pork or added to shredded vegetables for a zingy coleslaw.

About Terre Exotique

Terre Exotique works directly with hundreds of specialist farmers and producers around the world – to bring the very best peppers, spices and salts to our tables. The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller. After tasting pepper in the Penja plantation in Cameroon, Kerros yearned to try other specialist peppers and spices – and Terre Exotique was born.

The company works closely with farmers to preserve natural habitats, and to ensure a sustainable income for local communities. Each spice is carefully packed in tins or glass jars – with no plastic. The metal tins preserve the flavours and aroma of your spice, by protecting them from sunlight. So the ingredients stay at their best for longer.
