Chocolate Detective’s puffin eggs are a fabulous food gift idea. Open the box to reveal 12 eggs with speckled brown shells. The crunchy sugar shells hide a sweet surprise. Inside, you’ll find layers of milk and dark chocolate. The eggs are filled with ganache and lightly salted caramel.

The Chocolate Detective writes, “Brightly billed purring puffins are my favourite seabird with their cute, clown-like appearance. They pair up for life and raise just one precious Puffling a year.”

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.
