New Cedar Handmade Baklawa Selection, 360g Ingredients Brands|Middle Eastern Ingredients

Cedar’s handmade baklawa, or baklava, is the perfect finishing note for any meal. Serve it with mint tea or Turkish coffee and savour the flavours with friends.

Handmade in the UK, the baklawa selection features five different varieties. Each one is as delicious as the last! The bite-sized treats feature layers of thin, flaky pastry. They’re light and crunchy with sweet, sticky syrup holding everything together.

Cedar baklava is flavoured with honey and cinnamon for an authentic taste and aroma. The sweet syrup is balanced by the earthy flavour of walnuts, pistachios and cashews.

Baklawa is a popular sweet treat in the Middle East and Mediterranean. It is thought to have originated in Mesopotamia around 800 BC. No one can agree on who invented it, but the pastries are now enjoyed around the world.

Presented in stylish white boxes, Cedar baklawa is ideal for special occasions. You can serve it at birthdays and family gatherings or gift a box to a friend.

This Lebanese recipe for baklawa is made with lots of butter and nuts, and uses less syrup than Greek or Turkish versions. Please bear in mind the baklawa may be less sticky than some other varieties.
