Sale Navarra White Asparagus IGP, 330g Spanish Ingredients|Vegetables

Navarrico Navarra white asparagus IGP is a Spanish tapas classic ready for you to enjoy at home.

Wrap each elegant asparagus spear in strips of piquillo pepper and serve with an aioli dip. Or make a more substantial starter by serving with Serrano ham and a dressing of olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and chives.

White asparagus has a soft texture and mild flavour that’s slightly nuttier and earthier than the green asparagus we’re used to in the UK. It’s grown in the fertile River Ebro valley in Navarre, where it’s hand-picked and trimmed before being gently cooked. This variety has IGP status, which is given only to members of the Asparagus officinalis species that are grown in the Spanish regions of Navarre, La Rioja and Aragon.

Each jar includes 6-8 large spears of Navarra white asparagus.
