Puglian Bergamot Extra Virgin Olive Oil In Tin, 250ml Ingredients Brands|Italian Ingredients

This Italian extra virgin olive oil is infused with bergamot, a citrus fruit with fragrant juice and a perfumed aroma. The fruity, slightly bitter flavour is a perfect match for the velvety, cold-pressed olive oil. Produced in Puglia, this cold-pressed olive oil is incredibly versatile and pairs particularly well with fish, white meat and aged cheeses. You can use it in dressings and marinades or as a finishing oil for barbecued prawns.

Try drizzling this bergamot-flavoured oil over salads made with fennel, peppery rocket and bitter radicchio. For a show-stopping dessert, use the aromatic oil to make an olive oil cake flavoured with orange zest.

Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Puglia – the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantino’s oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.

Presented in a stylish striped tin, this flavoured olive oil will look (and taste) fantastic in your kitchen. It’s an ideal gift for keen cooks and Italian food lovers.
