Alhema de Queiles is a fresh, fragrant olive oil from northern Spain. It’s renowned for its low acidity and delicate fruity flavour.

Hacienda Quieles is regularly tipped as making some of the planet’s very best-tasting olive oils. Their bottles consistently appear on the World’s Best Olive Oil’s annual report. And in 2025, the Abbae oil was voted 3rd best in the world by the famed Mario Solinas Award – an extraordinary accolade.

Alhema de Queiles Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is available in three sizes:

• 500ml
• 1L
• 3L

This organic oil is made from Arbequina and Arróniz olives. These varieties are both native to Spain, though Arróniz olives are less well known. They were introduced to northern Spain by the Phoenicians over 2000 years ago.

The combination of Arbequina and Arróniz olives gives the oil a unique character. It has a mellow, slightly sweet taste with notes of fresh herbs. Let it linger on your tongue to enjoy its subtle spicy finish.

Alhema de Queiles is a versatile extra virgin olive oil. You can use it to sauté vegetables or dress a crisp green salad. It’s particularly good with white meat and seafood.

Use the oil as a finishing touch for roast chicken and flaky halibut. Or, swirl it over a rustic lentil soup. The oil’s mild flavour also works well in desserts and baked goods.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
