Clearance Roasted Kadaif, 1.4kg Ingredients Brands|Middle Eastern Ingredients

Roasted kadaif adds crunch to baked goods and desserts. Pair it with pistachio paste to make Dubai-style chocolate bars at home.

Roasted kadaif, or kataifi, is made from a simple dough of wheat flour and water. The fine, vermicelli-like strands are roasted until they’re crisp and golden. The roasting process gives them a toasted, biscuity flavour.

Kadaif is a popular ingredient in Middle Eastern desserts. It’s a great way to add crunch to bonbons and sundaes. Try layering it with ganache or praline when making truffles. Or, simply sprinkle it over hazelnut or pistachio gelato.

Roasted kadaif has a subtle, unsweetened flavour. In addition to desserts, you can also use it for savoury recipes. The crunchy threads are a delicious coating for fried prawns. Use kadaif as an alternative to panko breadcrumbs for fishcakes and croquettes.

This 1.4kg tub is ideal for restaurants, bakeries and catering companies. It gives sweet treats an irresistible crunchy texture. Delight diners with crispy chocolate truffles and nutty tarts topped with the golden strands
