Outlet Japanese White Konro Grill Japanese Ingredients|Food Smokers

The white Konro Grill is a traditional Japanese barbecue. The large, rectangular cooking surface is perfect for feeding a crowd. Take it outside to cook steaks and skewers over charcoal.

The grill reaches very high temperatures so food cooks quickly and evenly. Delight dinner guests with crispy chicken skin and smoky grilled vegetables. The heat caramelises sauces and marinades for maximum flavour.

You can place meat, fish and vegetables directly onto the stainless steel net. Any juices that drip onto the charcoal are instantly evaporated, keeping food moist and flavoursome. You can remove the grill mesh to cook large skewers.

This type of grill is also known as a shichirin or hibachi. In Japan, they are a popular sight on street corners with vendors selling yakitori skewers. Now, these tabletop barbecues are used by top chefs around the world. Their simple, compact design is great for grilling at home.

For best results, use binchotan charcoal. This Japanese charcoal burns at a high temperature for several hours. It burns cleanly and evenly with minimal smoke. It gives food a wonderful chargrilled taste, without overwhelming delicate flavours.

The white Konro Grill has metal feet to protect your surfaces. It comes with a replaceable grilling mesh and grilling tongs
