Outlet Bulgarian Troyan Brown Terracotta Cooking Pot Baking Supplies & Equipment

Roast meat and fish in this traditional Bulgarian roasting dish. It’s also ideal for slow cooked dishes like curries and casseroles. When your dish is ready, carry it to the table to serve guests family-style.

The Bulgarian Troyan brown cooking pot is available in two sizes:

• 22x14cm; 2L
• 28×15.5cm; 4L

The dish has a rounded body and two handles for lifting and carrying. The lid locks in heat and flavour until you’re ready to serve. The dish is decorated with a colourful wave pattern that pops against the brown background.

This roasting dish is part of a collection of Bulgarian pottery. It’s produced in the city of Troyan, which is famous for its ceramics. The vibrant colours and unique designs are an eye-catching alternative to traditional tableware.

The designs are inspired by Slavic and Thracian patterns from the 19th century. Every artist has their own style, so colours and patterns vary from item to item.
