Hot Stainless Steel Trussing Needle with Clip Baking Supplies & Equipment

The Triangle trussing needle has a serrated clip at one end. Made from durable stainless steel, it’s useful for all kinds of home butchery. Use it to truss poultry or secure large joints of meat after they have been split.

Trussing poultry helps it to cook evenly and hold its shape. Use butcher’s twine to stitch up the bird and keep stuffing and juices inside. The result is moist, flavourful meat and a bird that’s easy to carve.

This steel needle can also be used for larding. This is when lardons or pieces of bacon are pushed into joints of meat before cooking. The bacon is held securely by the clamp at the end of the needle. Larding adds extra flavour and prevents your meat from drying out. The bacon bastes the meat from the inside while it roasts.
