Clearance Sakura Blossom Matcha Gift Set Japanese Ingredients|Japanese Tableware

The Sakura Blossom Matcha Gift Set has everything you need to make a cup of Japanese matcha green tea. Handmade in Japan, the bowl features a delicate floral design that celebrates the country’s fleeting cherry blossom season. The set includes:

• Glazed porcelain matcha tea bowl
• Bamboo matcha whisk
• Whisk holder
• Chashaku bamboo matcha tea spoon

Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder that has been enjoyed as part of the Japanese tea ceremony for hundreds of years. Rich in antioxidants, it is said to boost brain health and relieve stress.

For one serving of matcha tea, use the chashaku to measure out two scoops of matcha tea powder into the bowl. Add a splash of hot water, and use the whisk to make a paste. Then top up with approximately 70ml of hot, not boiling, water. Use the matcha whisk in a vigorous ‘W’ motion until the matcha becomes very frothy. Enjoy immediately.

The Sakura Blossom matcha bowl set is a great gift for matcha lovers. For a gift that’s ready to enjoy straight away, select a pot of matcha from our matcha green tea range.
