Clearance No 8 Classic Folding Knife, 8.5cm Kitchen Knives

Opinel’s No.8 classic folding knife is one of the most popular knives they sell. With its smart but simple design, it’s incredibly versatile and easy to use. It can be used at the table or out in the wild when you’re camping, foraging or fishing. The design hasn’t changed since 1890, so owning an Opinel folding knife is like owning a piece of history. This unique knife is a fantastic gift – something you can cherish and hand down to the next generation.

The No.8 folding knife has a traditional Yatagan blade made from ultra-strong carbon steel. This makes it extremely durable and easy to sharpen. The blade does require some maintenance to avoid rusting. Ensure the knife is completely dry and lightly oil the blade before storing. We recommend the Opinel Maintenance Oil. The varnished beech wood handle not only looks great, it’s also comfortable and easy to grip. Opinel’s security system, Virobloc®, locks the blade securely in the open or closed position.

Weighing just 45 grams, this lightweight pocket knife is ideal for use at home or whilst travelling. You can use it to chop ingredients for a campfire supper, forage for wild ingredients or even for gardening and DIY. Quality is guaranteed – this is a knife that will stand the test of time.
